Amazing game!! I loved it! I like how the jumpscares got me every time and how they were perfectly delivered! I also think that the idea of finding something supernatural or scary in a house you are trying to rob, just adds to the spoopiness!! Loved it! (also your game starts at 10:40! Hope you enjoy!)
This was a lot of fun and very well done for a first game attempt. The only issue I had was the game bugged out the first playthrough and I could not use the crowbar to open the basement door. I was using the correct controls because after I restarted, I had no issue getting through the door. Other than that, the game was great. Keep up the good work!
Really impressed that this was your first game! It ran great. The sound FX made for great jump scares. I wish there was more to interact with and that the money/gold actually added to something. I'm sure you'll get to these smaller details by your next few games.

Only constructive feedback is I couldn't really see "our friend" when walking down the stairs to the basement. I played through twice and it was the same. I was hoping to get a good look at the monster and it kinda took away from the jump scare that we couldn't. Other than these super minor critiques, I really enjoyed your game!
I think this is really good for your first game! If I had a negative criticism to give it would be that it's a bit short, but that just means it was fun enough to want to play more lol. Also grammar is a bit off but I understand if you happen to not be a native english speaker so it's all good. It's a bit cheesy with some of the (spoiler) jumpscares but I personally found it really fun to play. Here's my experience if you're interested. Thanks so much for making it!
The game is very scary BUT at the end its impoaaible to beat it because the exit door key doesn't work even when you put it in but the scares did get me! please fix
Like to be overall game and design but ran into a few problems. The first one was involving the bathroom door not unlocking. I did actually get that unlocked finally but I died at the end of the game. I restarted my playthrough and I got another bug with the bathroom door but this time he was just never close all the way it was just stuck half open so I can never get into it in the bedroom door beside it was locked
the bedroom door not closing is not a glitch u have to look into the darkness for at least 1.5 sec in order to trigger the event and progress the game. also in order to unlock the doors and drawers u have to click RMB first then left click on the right key to open. but u were pressing tab which is just opening inventory.
Yeah the second time I stared into the darkness for a long time but it never closed. I moved around the house and came back. Looked again. A lot of that was cut out. For some reason the door never shut the second time for me.
Excellent horror game! Especially for it being your first one. I had a blast with this, and the scares really got me good throughout! Hope you enjoy my video, and good job dev!
Pretty good first game. I got a little stuck and had to wander back and forth but I think I just got unlucky and didn't set off a trigger somewhere. Otherwise a fun creepy time.
Oh yeah, we stole from the wrong house! The creep factor was nice. Just enough light to make you not wanna go into the next room without freaking out. Well done indeed ! Third game play. Video here:
That was great! I liked the tension that builds up, the looting feature, the chase sequence, the sound effects, etc. It was a great experience, other than a glitch I had with the inventory opening up after 5 clicks. Regardless of that, I loved it! Definitely wonder what the neighbor is doing with that weird thing in its home lol.
Dude this is great for your first game! I love the atmosphere you created, very inspiring! I have about 8 years of music production experience and I would love to produce your music/create the foley sound needed to push your atmosphere to the next level. If you are ever working on a new project I would love to amplify your mix!
For your first game you're already on the right track. It was a lot of fun, the jumpscares really got me, and I'm looking forward to seeing how you progress as a developer.
